The latest version of the app seems to run the installer much faster than before, although the setup kit is still larger than other media players.
Its interface preserves the simplicity that i Tunes has already familiarized its users with.
Since its initial release 13 years ago (available only for Mac OS 9 at the time), i Tunes has grown into an all-around media player and organizer with an online store and support extended to Windows machines. It can currently read, write and convert audio files between MP3, WAV, MPEG-4, AAC, M4A and AIFF.Excluding the obvious aspect that users may listen to online radio from numerous stations by genre, artists and other criteria, they may also create radio channels and stream music across i Phone, i Pad, i Pod touch, Mac, PC and Apple TV.For instance, stations revolving around a favorite song can be built by taking it into account for similar music or disregarding it completely. Those looking for additional visual elements may look into the "View" menu to turn on a visualizer, full screen, equalizer, downloads, status bar and sidebar, to name a few.
i Tunes' most recent exciting feature that has got the world buzzing is i Tunes Radio.I entered the location of my i Tunes media folder (i.e. I have my music share as a drive on my desktop (Finder, connect to server, smb://ds214Play) Anyway, since I did not want to duplicate the music files I unchecked the first three options in i Tunes, preferences, advanced: 1) keep i Tunes media folder organized, 2) copy files to i Tunes media folder... When I add new music to my library I copy the music to my disk station Music share and in i Tunes I click, file, add to library and it automagically opens up my disk station Music share, from there I select the folder I want to add and I'm good to go, If you need technical support please use this form: https://account.synology.com/support/support_Synology does not consistently browse this forum for technical support, feature requests, or any other inquiries as it notes at the top of the page.
