- Switch off and switch on TT and connect again but don't use tt home...instead, find your map where you put it on the hard Drive and copy/paste onto tt xl using my computer and the drive letter your tt connects with ( may take a while to copy over but just let it run. - reconnect and let tomtom put in its application (27mb).
The bad experience with other boxes is that their developers doesn't release patches for all possible version. Universal Box can handle each DCT-4 software version one by one where you have to select model, version and product code.
Like this you can easier load the appropriate falsh file.
The universal box is a good tool of choice, we at Fone Fun Shop use it all the time and have done for years.
It's difficult to keep up with what it can do and what costs credit etc.
It downloads to my computer ok, but when it copies it to the device, it always stops due to one of the files in the update, usually a bmp/gif or similar file.
